The KIAZMA Piano Duo offers audiences a glimpse into the highly challenging and unique rehearsal process of four-hand playing. Just ahead of its first Southbank Series concert on 9 May, the duo opens its doors on a rehearsal of Schubert's sublime F minor Fantasy, which will give audiences a special insight into the genre and deepen their appreciation of the subtlety and almost telepathic connection needed to play four-hand music in a way that allows the music to come to life naturally and spontaneously in performance. The session will be highly interactive, with audience questions and comments encouraged at any time. This event is free and audience is welcome to come and go freely during the hour.
